Description

New 4×6 fanfold labels (250 in a stack) will be better in UK eCommerce and warehouse dispatch. The Zebra GK420d (standard desktop printer) accepts fanfold labels; therefore, it can be readily integrated. The direct thermal shipping labels, all durable and BPA-free, are perforated and can be used immediately; this thermal format is also printed, requiring neither ink nor ribbon and therefore is fast and does not create a mess.

We have our 100 x 150 mm fanfold labels with high permanent adhesive and VAT included that are fitted in all popular Zebra and other thermal printers. These 4×6 fanfold labels are jam-free and fast to feed to your printer, depending on the dispatch operations at hand.

FAQs

Will these 4×6 fanfold labels work in my Zebra (or Rollo/Munbyn/etc.) thermal printer?
Yes, it is likely that your printer will work if it supports 4×6 direct-thermal media and has a fanfold, rear, or top feed option. Many Zebra-compatible labels are sold specifically for desktop direct-thermal printers, but some printers don’t accept fanfold format (check whether your model supports top/rear feeding). If in doubt, confirm your printer’s manual or product page for “fanfold” or “stack” compatibility.
Do these labels need ink or a ribbon? (thermal vs. thermal-transfer confusion)
4x6 fanfold labels are direct-thermal shipping labels — no ink, no ribbon. The printer heats the label paper to create the print. That makes setup simpler but also means labels are sensitive to heat/light over long storage, so keep unused stacks in a cool, dry place for the best shelf life.
How do I load fanfold labels so they feed correctly (orientation, label side up, etc.)?
Loading is usually removing any packaging, placing the stack so the printable face is up and the fold leaves feed into the printer’s feed path, setting the printer to 4×6 label size, and running a calibration or test print. Watch a short “how-to” for your exact model if you’re unsure — the tiny orientation mistakes are the most common cause of crooked or blank prints.
Fanfold vs. roll — which should I buy?
Fanfold pros: stacks neatly (saves shelf space), fewer reloads for high-volume runs, and less curling. Roll pros: easier with printers that expect rolls and slightly more universal for hobby/retail setups. Choose fanfold if you want compact storage and minimal reloads and your printer specifically supports it.
Will these 4×6 labels work for UPS/USPS/Amazon shipping labels and barcode scanners?
Yes—4×6 is the standard shipping-label size most carriers and shipping platforms expect. The key is print quality: use good-label stock and correct printer settings so barcodes scan reliably. Many sellers explicitly market their 4×6 fanfold labels as carrier-compatible.
Are the labels sticky enough, permanent, and safe (BPA-free)?
Most shipping fanfold labels use a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for cardboard and typical shipping surfaces. Many reputable manufacturers also sell BPA/BPS-free direct-thermal stock — if “BPA-free” matters to you, look for that claim on the product page or spec sheet before buying.
